In 1942, Elmus and Edna Henderson founded the Platte Valley Saddle Shop in Kearney NE, making quality western saddles. Today Lyle and Lynda Henderson are continuing that tradition. Whether it be for work, play or show, Lyle can build the style of western saddle most suited for your riding needs.

Often we are asked why spend the extra money on a custom saddle? The most common reason is fit. Our trees are custom made for the horse and rider.

Another reason is quality. We use the best materials available on the market.

A third reason is pride. A custom Henderson saddle will not be like any other saddle you have ever owned, nor will it be like anyone else's saddle. It will be a work of art you will be proud to own.
